Rêves, souvenirs d’enfance…

Toutes les civilisations se sont penchées sur les rêves, leur signification.

Dans la Bible plusieurs rêves sont mentionnés, ils ont  généralement un caractère prémonitoire.

Le rêve de Jacob : une échelle s’élève de la Terre jusqu’au ciel, des anges descendent de les échelons puis les remontent, puis Jacob vit Dieu qui se tenait tout en haut de l’échelle.

Dieu s’adressa à Jacob : « Je suis Dieu, le Dieu d’Abraham et le Dieu d’Isaac ton père ; la terre sur laquelle tu reposes, je la donnerai à toi et à tes descendants ; et tes descendants seront comme la poussière de la terre, et ils s’établiront vers l’ouest et vers l’est, vers le nord et vers le sud ; et par toi et tes descendants, toutes les familles sur la terre seront bénies. »

Mais le Midrash voit dans ce rêve le destin du peuple juif, les anges qui montent et descendent représentent les exils successifs auxquels sera confronté le peuple.

Quant aux rêves de Pharaon, où apparaissent les vaches grasses et les vaches maigres, interprétés par Joseph, ils sont prémonitoires.

Aucun des magiciens entourant Pharaon n’avait été capable d’interpréter ces rêves, on fit appel à Joseph qui en trouva l’explication, laquelle n’avait rien de magique.

Pharon s’inquiétait des temps à venir c’est ce que disent ses rêves. Il savait sans en avoir pris conscience que les récoltes pouvaient être mauvaises et que la famine guettait l’Egypte, il a osé affronter en rêve ce qu’il craignait.

Ce n’est pas de la voyance ou de la magie, Pharaon a construit ses rêves à partir de ce qu’il savait déjà.

Et Joseph a su le comprendre.

Pour Freud le rêve est le langage de l’inconscient, Adler, en revanche, pense que nous  préparons dans nos rêves les situations que nous devrons affronter le lendemain, et nous rêvons plusieurs fois dans la nuit pour tester différentes façons d’aborder la situation.

Mais qu’en est-il de nos souvenirs d’enfance ?

Sont-ils conformes à la réalité de ce qui s’est vraiment passé ? Ou les « arrangeons-nous » en fonction du moment,  suivant ce que nous voulons démontrer par ces souvenirs ?

Quand j’évoque le passé avec mes cousines, nos souvenirs sont très différents, chacune de nous a sa version, quelquefois diamétralement opposée.

Et chacune croit fermement à ce dont elle se souvient. Et nous avons raison toutes les trois, évoquer un souvenir c’est comme regarder un paysage, selon l’endroit où l’on se trouve on ne voit pas la même chose que son voisin et pourtant c’est bien le même paysage.

Elles n’ont pas eu la même mère ni le même père, l’une était la première enfant sa sœur le N° trois dans la fratrie, la vision qu’elles ont de leurs parents, bien que radicalement différente, n’en est pas moins juste.

Qui a tort, qui a raison ?

Tout le monde a raison, nous nous souvenons de ce dont nous avons besoin.

Ex : un soir une amie m’appelle en pleurs, son petit ami vient de la quitter, elle est effondrée.

Quelques jours plus tard je prends des nouvelles, je lui demande comment elle se sent, elle me répond que tout va bien, depuis qu’elle a quitté son ami elle se sent plus légère et qu’elle aurait dû le « jeter » plus tôt !

Evidemment, elle transforme la réalité pour mieux la supporter et jusqu’à aujourd’hui sa version n’a pas changé.

Ou est-ce moi qui me trompe… ?
